Diana Scott

Diana Scott is another of our firm favourites and a regular exhibitor at The Westcott Gallery. Diana is a member of both the Guildford and the Chelsea Art Societies, as well as being a member of the Dorking Group of Artists. She is a regular exhibitor at the Royal Institute of Watercolour Paintings. Diana trained at Heatherleys School of Fine Art and Central School of Art doing stage and costume design in the 1950's.

Great influences on her approach to work have been attending painting demonstrations and courses by Edward Wesson RI, RBA, RSMA (who sadly died in 1983) and since then the work of James Fletcher-Watson RI, RBA and John Yardley RI.

Pictures have been hung at the annual exhibitions of the Royal Institute of Watercolour Painters and the Royal Society of Marine Artists, at the Mall Galleries, London, and also at other exhibitions in London and the provinces.

Diana teaches locally in Surrey and enjoys painting landscapes, seascapes and interiors as well as gardensubjects.
